The archie comics are the only TMNT comics I've ever been interested in, because the rest are far to dark to appeal to me. I read the original two on the http://www.ninjaturtles.com website, but I can safely say the cartoons, movies, and toys are what I like the best.

Most comics are just flat-out twisted.

I don't own any, but I've read one part of a TMNT comic book. It was just somewhere in the house and I picked it up and started reading it. It didn't take me very long to put it down either. It was just weird! Shocked

I have no idea. I know a lot of what makes shows go weird is they change the writing staff to bring in some "fresh" ideas.
